Imagine taking a hike for your annual physical, meeting for coffee to talk about your mental health or in place of the traditional office visit having the practitioner meet you during your lunch break at work or at your child’s soccer game; meeting you on your time and preferred location.
Your life is busy and you shouldn’t have to wait for healthcare.
House calls aren’t just for the homebound but I’m bringing back the nostalgic authenticity of healthcare
and prioritizing patients by individualizing care to meet you where you are.
Your healthcare includes preventative care with lifestyle coaching and support, trauma informed care, and simple sick visits in the comfort of your own home as the genuine-classic house call.
Having a provider who actually listens and genuinely cares… that’s what makes this different. At the heart of where you are; Authentic Care.
My Mission, My Calling…
When I was a little girl, I never said I wanted to be a nurse or a general practitioner, but everything in our life happens for a reason. I grew up in hospital waiting rooms and doctor’s offices next to family members who were fighting disease. I observed medicine at a young age and wanted nothing to do with it. After high school I earned my bachelor’s degree in international studies and communication- studying anthropology and later combined this with earning my graduate certificate in public health. I served on medical missions around the world; providing rural healthcare and volunteering with EMS and search and rescue. I returned to school for my Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Southern Maine and worked as an ER nurse, forensic nurse and nursing instructor. My passion for trauma informed care arose from the privilege of caring for victims of trauma and watching their transformation during care to survivor. I wanted to encourage them across their journey to empower that resilience and I returned to school for my Master’s in Nursing. My avocation to be a primary care provider is to partner with patients not just during their trauma or sickness but as survivors and individuals to encourage each to blossom in their own life. I am passionate about holistic health and recently completing training through Harvard Medicine on lifestyle, wellness and nutrition and offer motivational conversations to help prevent and manage chronic disease and optimal wellbeing.
There has been a time and place for all of my life lessons and through these I have witnessed how a disease affects not just the patient, a person, but the family and even community. For this reason, I am passionate about health stewardship and on a mission to increase access to authentic healthcare through direct primary care membership, community activities and education. Medicine isn’t as simple as a pill or diagnosis that defines someone; a patient is not a disease or a condition- they are a person. It starts with caring for and about each other. Health is holistic, a delicate balance, and through nursing and stewardship I aspire to provide care to my patients and community for body, mind, heart and spirit. I vow to serve and care for my communities with all my heart, mind and soul.
Love Always, Emily

Your membership goes further than your own health. It is my mission to increase access to healthcare throughout Maine. Health clinics will be offered at no cost to the community throughout the year and include health screenings, lifestyle coaching, health resources and more with partnership of local nursing schools and other health providers to teach the next generation the stewardship of authentic health and caring.
What Is Direct Primary Care?
Direct primary care (DPC) is a model for primary care where a patient or member pays a monthly fee for services which include:
-Routine/annual primary care and health related screenings
-Personalized care, Relationship based care; unrushed visits, continuity of care
-Multiple ways to communicate with PCP include text and email, response by PCP within 24 hours of message received
-Follow up visits including patient education
-Sick Visits offered without waiting and in the comfort of your home
-Discounts on labs, imaging and medications
-Community Events, physical and social engagements
-Monthly Newsletter
In the DPC model patients have control over their health versus insurance dictating what is covered or not and there is more continuity of care between patient and provider. Patients are able to self schedule appointments with access usually same day for care.
Memberships are $80/month with a one time registration fee of $80. In addition to the DPC model; House calls and Mobile visits are offered at no additional cost to members. It is important that care meets you where you are and doesn’t define or limit you but spurs you on in your life

Patient Testimonials
“Emily is kind, empathetic, smart and truly listens. She takes the time to connect with everyone she meets.”
“Best physical ever! I feel so empowered and encouraged after visiting with Emily. It’s like spending time with your best friend with a stethoscope!”
“I felt so validated, affirmed and like a human and not a list of diseases or tests. She took the time to get to know me, asked me what my goals were instead of the generic assembly line that has become primary care. We laid out a plan and it was a conversation and not a prescription for a bunch of pills. This really is special… she’s special.”
“It’s like Patch Adams and Florence Nightingale doing a house call! She has really brought back the care in health care!”
